If your plan is to have an exciting stay dedicated to sport, to moving and getting around, to once in a lifetime walks in the wildest countryside, to swimming in the crystal clear waters of the sea, to relaxing games of golf, to riding calmly on horseback or to the thrills of climbing, then Tuscany is your ideal destination. The countryside is criss-crossed by a grid of footpaths, walkways and bicycle trails, immersed in pure nature, that help you discover the true beauty of this region.
Tuscany is a region loved by who plays golf: the choice of landscape (from the rolling hills dotted with cypresses and olives to the parts where the sea is the backdrop) gives you the chance to choose a setting that is truly unique, where playing golf can be a great way of having an unforgettable stay here.
Tuscany has in fact more than 30 golf clubs in all its provinces: it’s up to you where you want to play, on hills in the open countryside, in the Mediterranean maquis near the coast or surrounded by woods.

The woods on the Cerbaie high ground are a “world apart” an area that was inhabited and worked on up until a few decades ago and since then has been largely abandoned. Paths that start and then disappear in the depths of the maquis, never-ending forests that providing natural habitat, landscapes and horizons that make you forget the factories and warehouses a few hundred metres below.
Thanks to an improvement plan to enhance the area, more than 7 kilometres of paths have been cleared and put back into shape, and adding, along the trails, information panels and exercise breaks with the aim to start making the most of an area so beautiful and so unexploited.
